LeAnn will join Kenny Chesney on his tour - 2007-11-16
LeAnn Rimes will take part in Kenny Chesney’s Poets & Pirates tour. Final dates have not been announced, though work is already on the way. Kenny said about the songstress, "I think LeAnn Rimes is as good a singer as there is out there, and she knows how to have fun onstage." "I am a big fan, and everybody better be ready for a pretty incredible time. I know I'm looking forward to seeing her out there and getting to hear her sing." Rimes recently performed at CMA Awards show, known as "Country Music's Biggest Night," which was held at Nashville's Sommet Center on November 7.
LeAnn’s fans want her to have a baby - 2007-08-23
LeAnn Rimes’ fans want the artist to become a mother soon. The singer confesses that her peolple continuously ask her to expand her family with five- years husband, Dean Sheremet. LeAnn says. “I have gotten so many crazy comments," she says. "People going, 'You need to have a baby!' People feel like they're like my parents or my grandparents or my brother or sister, and they're like, 'You've been waiting too long. We've been waiting on you to announce that.' And I'm like, 'Hold on a second — what?' It's so funny, the comments that I get from people." To be in line with the request, LeAnn called Family to her new album, expected to release this fall.

Born Margaret LeAnn Rimes, 28
August 1982, Jackson, Mississippi, USA. Rimes' father, Wilbur,
was a part-time guitarist and, with his encouragement, LeAnn was
singing and tap-dancing when aged only two and winning talent
contests when five. The family moved to Texas and she sang "The
Star-Spangled Banner" at various sports events and the National
Cutting Horse Championships in Fort Worth.
